I go here quite often for lunch. I used to be a bit indifferent to this place but over time it has grown on me and the quality has improved. The service is always stellar and extremely nice. The sandwiches are made quickly and taste great which is the most important thing for a lunch place.

Great choices of soups & salads! Try their butternut squash if possible. Though it's not always on their menu!

Mostly a review for their different soups. They rotate them out on pretty much a daily basis so you can get a decent selection throughout the week. Parking is hectic but its a great place to swing by and grab something on a lunch break.

Simply Turkey has now become my favorite lunch place. They have fresh sandwiches, soups and salads. My favorite is the Black Jack - blackened chicken with chipotle mayo an jack cheese. The hardest part of being here is making up my mind on what to eat - everyday they have specials and you cant go wrong with any. Although they have a parking lot,it does fill up real quick during lunch-that is my only gripe with this place.

I drove past Simply Turkey daily for at least a year before trying it. A friend raved about it, which got me curious. From the outside it looks like another tired sandwich joint. Inside it's surprisingly large with plenty of seating and a great selection of salad items, breads and wraps. The half-wrap and soup was enough for a lunch and dinner. Bargain! I loved the blackened chicken on a spinach wrap with the works. The same staff were always there, which makes me think it's a good place to work (avoid the youngest guy for wraps if you're after the maximum amount of fillings in there :)). But I digress... nothing's perfect. So the cons are; diabolical parking during lunch (a sneaky park in the Pizza Hut or the Rite Aid employees lot works in a pinch), and the sometimes-salty-soups. In summary, lots of healthy options, and quick service. Definitely a decent place for lunch.

Semi-fast food, great taste, healthy options, make sure you try this place. Some people freak out because the word turkey is in the name and they envision something along the lines of Thanksgiving dinner or Boston Market. It is neither!!! You need to try this if you haven't already. (OK, to be honest you can also get a turkey dinner.) It's one of those places where you pick up a tray, grab a drink, then make your way down the line - selecting what you want to eat and customizing it as you go. If you love good bread this is a great place. They have their bread brought in every day from Philadelphia. They slice it right before your eyes. I think there have been more than 5-7 options every time I've been there. Personally, I love the salads, which you can get in various sizes for various prices. My favorite is the boss salad which allows you to pick your toppings. I usually go decadent with chicken salad, blue cheese, bacon, and tomatoes or onions. The sandwiches are great with tons of options and you can customize to meet your needs. The soups are amazing and a large one can easily make a meal. The soups taste like your grandma spent the day slaving over a stove. The parking at lunch time is a %^&#^%. You'll often find that there isn't a space in the parking lot and there isn't a lot of close street parking. Go early or later in the lunch hour. They're only open M-F and only from 10:30 - 7:00. Most people grab something for dinner on their way home. I think almost everything can be packaged to go so you can take the items, assemble the items at home and you can look like you slaved over the oven all day roasting poultry and whipping up side dishes. I'd give it 5 stars but the parking is a ^*##^$ and the prices are just a little higher than I really want to pay for what I get. But the food is fast, fresh, healthy, and tasty.

Great spot for lunch. I've not tried dinner here, but going by the lunch experience it should be good too. The first thing which you notice is the staff. Very efficient and fast service. They will customize the menu, if you want. It is not fast food, but is assembled when you order. I took a combo, half Cajun Crunch Chicken wrap and a bowl of tomato soup. Both were excellent! I would give the place 5 star, if they offered toasted sandwiches and wraps. I'm sure there are many people who prefer a warm sandwich. Parking during lunch time can be a challenge depending on what time you arrive.

I'm a big fan of Simply Turkey. I have never ordered anything that I didn't like here. I especially enjoy the blackjack chicken wrap. Their soups are awesome, especially the turkey noodle. I just like coming here when I can. The employees are always super nice and will answer any questions that you may have. Their menu isn't huge, but it's also not very small either. They also offer huge cookies at the register. I love the pb cookie and the choco chip is great as well. It adds a nice touch to your meal.

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. They have amazing soups!!! The sandwiches are unique, and the salads are great too. I always have a great meal here. The soups are my favorite though. They have a rotating menu, and you can view the specials every day online. You can even buy soup by the quart, which is a great option for dinner. Oh and I cannot forget about the hot turkey meals! You can get a hot turkey dinner with various sides anytime you feel like it! Enjoy Thanksgiving in July if you wish! You cannot go wrong with anything you order here! Good service too!!!

Everything here is great. Love the soups and sides. Try the turkey sandwich with Brie! Or the Thanksgiving sandwich!!!

This is a great place for lunch or for an easy dinner. The staff are very friendly and they can make any wrap/sandwich/salad custom for you. My personal favorite is the black jack chicken wrap. On Fridays they make an AMAZING homemade cream of crab soup and it is definitely worth getting. I'm also a big fan of their ghost pepper cheese so if you like to spice things up try adding it to your wrap/sandwich!

Check the website daily for specials on soups & sandwiches. I love their portabella mushroom soup - oh my! Place your order ahead - the soups can be sold out by 2pm. Do not attempt to come after 4-5pm and expect to get a specific soup, especially a special one vs chicken noodle...it will not be there. Great place for lunch - food comes fairly quickly. I believe they take card as long as it's over $5.00? Don't quote me on that though.

nice change of pace from the fast food and sushi/chinese places. Stuffing is home made, tastes like a sage based dressing. Turkey is good, could always use a little more of it but its good, close to home made. Potato's are instant but I like instant so fine with me. Little pricey but not too bad. This is for the Front St Harrisburg location.

I have yet to be disappointed with ST&M. I try something different each time. I just had their Chicken Salad on Sourdough with spinach leaves, red onions and tomatoes. Everything was fresh. For around $10 you get a sandwich, soup, a drink, and chips. Give them and try. They have another location on front Street in Susquehanna right before Fort Hunter Park. It makes for a great picnic.

Been up here numerous times always seems O have hunger on mind and forget to check in! This place never gets boring and menu varies daily. Great assortment of wraps, salads and soups! You can vary your choices to suit your hunger! I recommend this place highly especially for lunch! If your looking for this for a dinner you'll have to check the closing time it 's early!

Food tastes OK, but for a place called Simply Turkey I would expect more than one small rolled up piece of turkey on the turkey dinner. Very disappointing. Lunch time seating wasn't packed but clearly no one is cleaning the tables during this period. Very messy.

Re-reviewing Simply Turkey after some recent visits. The quality of the food is very good. They change the menu up with specials and eveyrthing is always good. Nice portions and well-prepared most of the time. (The new trainee girl in Hbg rolled my last wrap so loose the whole thing fell apart on first bite) The food though is clearly the highlight..and they are fast. The three star's is for the service...but in the Front St Harrisburg location. No problems with the service in Camp Hill. Harrisburg though, surly and unfriendly. I've walked in, only person in line, and there will be 4 kids standing behind the counter staring at me..as I glance from one to the other, not one will speak up. It's a lazy thing I think...it's a "I don't have to speak up and make this order if my coworker does it first". But to the customer, it's employees staring at them with nobody greeting or acknowledging them. Manager needs to tighten up the service and add some smiles.

The soups are delicious! A bit pricey, but the soups cannot be beat. My favorites include the Crab and Spinach Bisque and the Turkey Rice. They always have a variety (3 or 4 soups a day). The turkey is very fresh too. I have gone to both locations, and I prefer the location on Front St more since it has better parking. Great place for lunch! Also, you can get the punch card, so if you purchase 9 meals, you get $5 off your 10th meal.

The food was incredible. I heard great things about the crab soup they serve on fridays and I had to try it. Best crab soup in the area for sure but I would have liked a bit more spice in it. Chicken salad with cranberry and apple was amazing! I've been there a few times. I'll def go again.

Every single time I try to eat here there is NO PARKING! Doesn't matter how good the food is if you can't get to it!!!

I have no idea how I have yet to review this considering I order takeout from this place (and by this place, I mean their location on Front St, Harrisburg) faithfully Monday-Friday. (living frugally my ass) Don't tell my Boyfriend ;-) On to the review: This place hits the spot for just about all of my lunch-hour cravings (even for peanut-butter eggs). The food is prepared fresh (yes, you can watch to make sure no foreign items are making their way into your sandwich), which I adore. They have wonderful daily specials. Their menu consists of made-to-order-whatever-you-want items (i.e. wraps, sandwiches, salads). They have the creamiest, mouthwatering, homemade soups. The staff (again, only referring to the location on Front St) has always been patient and pleasant despite the chaotic lunch-hour rush. They offer several combo deals, which are extremely kind to your wallet. I recommend going to this place if you haven't already. I tried this place several weeks ago based on the reviews I had read here. I decided to just go in and grab something for a takeout lunch. First off, the parking comments in the other reviews are correct. Yikes! After waiting about 7 minutes I lucked out and caught someone pulling out of a space. However, I figured this was a good sign of things to come. (Note: apparently you can call ahead and just pick up your order at a drive through window. I didn't know this when I went.) I walked in and surveyed the setup. I hadn't realized it was a cafeteria-like line to get your food (a la Subway). But hey, no problem. I perused the menu, made my choice, and ordered the Turkey Special (Reuben). The woman helping me asked what kind of bread I wanted. When I asked what my choices were, she sighed and looked at me like I was a complete idiot. She begrudgingly recited my choices (I chose the pumpernickel). I was just looking around while she was preparing my sandwich. I turned back around as she was finishing up and looked at my sandwich and thought: it's so small; it doesn't look like there is any coleslaw on there. So I asked her if it came with coleslaw. She just glared at me and snapped "It's on there!." I just walked off and paid for my lunch ($5.50). Back at the office, I dug into my sandwich. It was tasty albeit rather bland. The turkey was flavorful and moist. But the coleslaw had little flavor. And I could barely taste the Russian dressing. The size was on the small side of standard; nothing generous like at a quality deli. So for now I'm giving this place two stars despite the other reviews. If the sandwich had been something special I would have thrown in a third. But it wasn't. I might try this place again. Maybe I just caught someone having a bad day which affected both the service and food.

Met my sister here once for lunch. Not the best but not the worst either. They have a decent selection of food and for the money, you do get enough. While I didn't have the soup, my sister did and she thought it was fantastic!

They cannot be beat in the soup department. Period. Many delicious and fresh options to make salads (mixed greens, spinach or iceburg), wraps or sandwiches. I also highly recommend the Cajun Crunch wrap. Endless list of salad dressings and many fresh bread options. It is also quite amazing that they serve turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes all year long. Highly recommend for lunch!
